I've been using LastPass for a couple months (the paid version, so I can use the mobile version, 1$ a month). I really like the password generator.
There are some sites that I can't get to work (my bank). I just remember the login/password for those.
Just a small query Havoc mate what happens if you don't pay the dollar a month does the program crash or become non portable ??

I'm not sure. I paid for the whole year ($12)? I guess it will just tell you that you need to activate it. I haven't messed around with the mobile version that much at all.

The premium version says that you have "unlimited sync across all mobile and desktop devices". I guess that if you change a password on your desktop, it would not be updated on your mobile device and you would have to change it manually.

FWIW I have used KeePass for many years, have over 500 credentials in it, it's free and works on all platforms not only my PCs and Linux and Mac and iGizmos, maybe even Android, and can highly recommend it.

I don't like proprietary solutions of any kind; I did years ago try a hardware key called MetaPass which was very cool right-up until the company went out of business and it stopped working.

Thanks Max am now trying out Linux nad I haven't got that far yet but at least this is good as a lot of my Windows apps won't work there - not necessarily a bad thing though
