MR boot menu entry created: yes, MR creates the PE environment 'on demand' without having to create the USB recovery media (which I already made in W7) first. This is version 6.1; previous free versions did not have that boot menu option available.

Users folder moved to H:\Users, and now I'm trying to resolve multiple event viewer reports that have been appearing 50-60 times per minute; all relating to a system process that 'sysprep' failed to inform about the Users folder's move, and trying to write to a database in C:\Users......

Solved by turning off 'Sync my settings'.

Thank you for the help, advice and information.

Great to hear you have Macrium working with your latest setup !

I can't help with moving User folder's or Sysprep isues.
Here's a couple of SF tutorials that might help (if you haven't already seen these):
User Folders - Change Default Location
User Profiles - Create and Move During Windows 7 Installation

No, I haven't seen those, but my issue is with the Users folder on W10; I realize I've been squatting in the 7 forums, taking up valuable pixel-space with my W10 issues, so I guess I should start a new thread in 10 forums.

I've marked this solved, as the title query issue has been resolved.

Thanks DavidE et al. I'm sure I'll be back here before long having done something really dumb :>]

    You're welcome :)
Yea, posting in Ten Forums should get you better help.

Here is a Ten Forums tutorial for moving Users folder you can look at:
Users Folder - Move Location in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
