    Software for Home owners association

this is completely unrelated to W7, but I'm desperate in need of advice.

for our home owners association we want to do better billing/accounting. currently we jsut use an Excel spreadsheet to keep up with payments. but that has its problems as we had some changes in treasurer and never really know who paid.

Any recommendations of a software? We also pay for one if it works well. We have 310 lots. there are several owner changes every year.

We already have a website, so we don't need one of the services that comes with a website. Ideally we don't have a web based solution, we rather have the data physically here. I'm not sure if one of the financial software would do the job.

    any advice? Thanks.

i agree, your question is not really related to Win 7, but I have a friend, who has her own small business. She is the salesman, accountant, marketing dept. She knows very little about accounting and bookeeping. However she uses Quick Books. She is very happy with it. Takes care of the billing, accounting, and everything else. She takes the documents, at the end of the year, and her accountant does the taxes. I suugest that you, keep Quick Books in mind when you make the final decision.

thanks.... I had googled a bit more and found Quicken has a "Rental Property Management" version. Would that be good? since we don't deal with any tax, values.... I suppose all software will be way over what we need. It just needs to be easy, reliable

I really have no comment. The only advice that I could give, is what I already told you. My friend uses Quick Books, and it seems to fit your description of what is needed. Probably the best method is to go to Office Depot, et al and talk to them. They have more experience than us.
