    Show The Desktop?

    Hi all,

I downloaded RocketDock and I'm having some issues with it while using "Show the Desktop." Whenever I click it, the Dock disappears because the OS considers it like every other program and minimizes it since its blocking the desktop. Is there any way to get it so that clicking "Show the Desktop" won't minimize RocketDock, much in the same way that sidebar is still kept on the screen? Currently, the only way I can use the dock is by minimizing any windows blocking it so that I don't need to click "Show the Desktop" which makes it disppear.

    Thanks

Not used Rocket dock for a while but I always used it in Always on Top Mode and Autohide.

This way moving the mouse to the top of the screen made the dock available - Mine was placed at the top of the screen

Thanks but that really don't do what I want. Making it always on top solved the problem of it disappearing when I hit Show The Desktop but I don't want it covering my windows when I'm using programs or folders

You should have an option for AutoHide

This will hide the dock until you hover the mouse cursor in the area when it will appear.

You can use the options to set the sensitivity and the actual final position of the dock

Until the developers of RocketDock update the software to be aware of the new functions of Windows 7 like aero peek I;m afraid that this sort of compromise is inevitable

use regular not auto hide or always on top regular with show it on desktop, but not over other windows, will also bring it infront of other windows when u put mouse over. will stay behind maximized windows.
