Win 7 and Nokia PC Suite

    Hi,

I have Win 7 Home Edition 64 bit and Nokia PC Suite 3.8.54 installed, I never had any issues before but when I open PC Suite and when I try to sync the mobile the phone comes up with pass-code required as it has done many times before, but now I do not see it on my laptop?
The mobile I have is old but very reliable, its a Nokia 6234, connected via Bluetooth, I never had any issues with it before? I have un & re-installed PC suite, it opens and shows mobile.
Any ideas how to get the pass-code window to show up on the laptop so I can enter it in the mobile?

    TIA

    Hi,
I believe I read the newer July update client KB3172605 kills blue tooth features if that is the issue you're referring to ?

    Hi,
    Connect it with a cable
Microsoft now owns... Nokia don't they ?
You might remove it and install KB3179573 instead ?
    Known issues in this update

    • Issue 1

      Symptom
After you install KB 3133977, the software for Intel Bluetooth devices may not be fully functional because of existing software issues in the Intel Bluetooth driver software. These issues may affect Bluetooth keyboards, mice, audio streaming devices, and voice headsets. You may also not be able to pair new Bluetooth devices. Intel is currently working on an update to address their software incompatibilities.

      Workaround
If you require Intel Bluetooth support on Windows 7 before the revised software is available, the only known workaround at this time is to uninstall this update temporarily and then reinstall it after Intel has updated their software.
