Windows 8 32 bit Software problem.

Greetings!!! I am new to SevenForums and am wondering if it is possible to get solutions to problems related to problems with DVD Flick software installed on my Window 8 32Bit computer?
I spotted a suggestion for a problem I am having in a thread by ViddyD33 posted on May 09 2012 in which Shark007 recommended the adding of registry file (DVD_native-keys-32bit.reg) and it worked.

My problem is this: I have been using DVD Flick for a long time without problem. Suddenly, when attempting to burn a video to DVD the process works fine until ImgBurn (Part of the DVD Flick software) attempt to actually burn the DVD. A nonspecific error message occurs. Cannot recall the message but the burning process stops after having burned just enough to the DVD-R disk to make it useless.

I have reinstalled DVD Flick several times with the same recurring problem. Although nothing "Obvious" has changed on my computer since DVD Flick was functioning perfectly.
Failing a solution, can anyone recommend a dependable Freeware DVD burner should I not be able to solve this problem? It's a pity because DVD Flick is/was a very good software. I hope that someone can help me with this problem. Thanking you in advance for any help or suggestions. Happy Holidays!!
