    Downloading Windows Live messenger 2009

    Hello,

I Don't want to download WLM 2009 from microsoft because they don't provide a .exe version to download it. My internet connection and I can't doing it with their system when you have to wait till the download finish.

Do you Know a downloadable Version for WLM 2009 ? I think the size is 24MB only (I don't need the other options like Live, Mail) just the messenger .

P.S : sorry if this is the wrong section.

    Thanks in advance

I'm sorry Iceman, but downloading Windows Live Messenger from Microsoft is the only legal means of doing so. Any other way violates Microsoft distribution policy and is not allowed to be discussed here without getting banned. All you have to do is check only Windows Live Messenger to only install it.

You might wanna try downloading ALL of Windows Live Essentials (the entire suite).

Go to: Essentials - Windows Live

Click on 'Download', wait for the 'Save as' windows pop-up to appear, cancel that, and then click on 'Try Again'.

Warning!: The entire suite is like ~120 MBs.

    Here:

If that doesn't work, you might wanna start considering 3rd party IM clients like Digsby or Trillian Astra.
