    .DLL Question

    Hello,

Have been trying to get an older program that ran fine under XP to run under Windows7.

Although the Setup.exe didn't seem to work directly, I have had some luck in having part(s) of the program work after playing around with the W7 compatibility modes.

    Program came on 2 Floppies.

Copied the Floppies into new PC with W7, and put in a single Folder.

There are a few .dll files

Should these be "put" anywhere (else), or "Registered" (an old XP term) ?
    If so, how please ?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    From OP:

    Hi,

    Thanks for help.

It's only one, and shows as:

    _SETUP.DLL

    Called an "Application Extension"

    Thanks again,
    Bob

    Hi Bob,

What is this program? Can you zip up the files off each floppy separately and include them in your reply so that we can have a look at them.
