Hi guys, I would appreciate it if you could comment on this issue => Is it beter to remove the preinstalled trials of antivirus, antispyware etc. programs using Revo or their own uninstallers?
I would prefer to use the recommended / appropriate brand uninstaller to remove their software.

I've removed Norton from both my Vista and Win 7 computers and in each case Revo listed 700-1,000+ registry values and several 1,000's of files that it removed along with the software itself. I also removed McAfee with their supplied installer from another computer, but it gave no statistics as to how many Registry values or program files were removed so its very hard to compare the prolific amount of Registry values and system files Revo removes and documents with a program's uninstaller which offers no such information, but requires a manual inspection some experimentation should give you a definitive answer, but be prepared to track down 1,000's of folders and files...

    Ok i tested=
    Revo Unistaller
    Uninstall Tool
    Your Uninstaller
    Total-Uninstall
    With the same games,software etc.
Revo Unistaller (i ran the Advanced mode),Uninstall Tool and Your Uninstaller they didn't found all the leftovers files.
    Total-Uninstall cleans everything!
So revo WAS my favorite,NOW is Total-Uninstall.
I had a chance to try this for a while, and I agree it is the best uninstaller period.

I was a little Leery about this program from what I heard from some, but they must not know how to use it properly.

I uninstalled about 3-4 different programs using this and Revo and Smarty (that's a nice one too) Total still left some fragments for some programs but only about 1 or 2 entries in the registry, Revo left too many to count and Smarty did a little better but Total is the best by far that I've used.

    Programs uninstalled: Norton
    Nvidia drivers and Win Patrol.

I was wondering if you might have screenshots of this because Revo did an excellent job of removing Norton's Registry keys and values on both my Vista x32 and Win 7 x64 computers.

Hey MAXX,for some reason FF is not letting me quote your message?

I'll have to run the tests over and take some pic's, I'd rather do a video but I don't even own a camera. Guess I better get a video camera this year

As I tried to say in the post that was not meant to be, I did not expect Total to best Revo Pro so I did not bother taking pictures.

Maybe I'll try this with Prevx.

I seen that, don't know if I'd go near their stuff after what they did to Malwarebytes
