I don't think it has to do with ease of use...

Imgburn does what most people need... It will burn audio & data. You can make ISO's and there's a few extra tools included all in a whopping 4.39mb installer.

Nero in the other hand has a good bit of bells & whistles. Video & Audio conversion, and an all in one media player. My Nero 8 installer is 230mb.

If all your after is basic audio burning, and an ISO file creator...

Which one would you want on your system?

I've heard many people suggesting ImgBurn. I've tried it and it works fine. The problem is the feature that I wanted is not available. I guess because I downloaded the trial version? or maybe because it's free?

Anyway you can check dvd burning softwares here. They are not free but I guess if you plan to buy one, you can check the list.

What feature do you want? ImgBurn stands out as a burning software. The only problem is it doesnot have "audio CD" burning and doesnot support multi-session burning like NERO. But not many people burn audio CDs these days, MP3 is what people usually burn and hardly anyone burns a disc more than 1 time.

You can burn audio cds with Imgburn, you just have to create a cue file and drag the audio files onto it before you burn it, see here. Also, as of version 5.5 it supports multi session burning of .cdi files. That might not mean multi session on everything but this is sweet if you need to burn .cdi files and diskjuggler doesn't work for ya .

If you don't wanna use multi session and "aduio CD" burning (involves converting MP3 into some format that makes a 700 mb CD full of only 8-16 songs) just dump NERO and use Imgburn!
