    why this software (don't sleep) doesn't work ?


    Hi

    i can't understand why this software doesn't work under windows 7


    the program is don't sleep ,it's portable and has some nice feature

    i want to use it , bacause i have in my keyboard a sleep key , and sometime i stroke for error


    so i set only blocking standby , but it doesn't work
    what's wrong?
    does it work to you?
    it's portable , it doesn't write registry or other files

    Have you got the latest version which is 2.66. If you haven't then please download it and try again. It may work.

    Just to let you know, you can go into your Power Options, click "Choose what the power buttons do" from the left, then just select "Do Nothing" for the "When I press the Sleep button" section. No need for that extra program.

    if you still don't have any luck with that program, you could try an alternative: insomnia

    it's open source, portable, and comes in 32 or 64 bit flavours



    i use it when i'm downloading from steam overnight - steam doesn't seem to keep the computer awake when downloading, which is crazy!

    It's the same button as far as Windows is concerned.
    have on your keyboard a specific button to go stand by , or shut down?
    for example a logitech keyboard

    does it work for you?
