Windows 7: Msn Messanger stick ALOT Need help to find out why

Ok i have reinstalled my WINDOWS 7 and after baout 2 weeks of running windows 7 MSN has started to stick again randomly. it would stick and then take about a min before it responds and working back normal I change anti virus.
Can some give me some advise what i could look into why its sticking.
Nothing else sticks on my computer though only MSN

I'm encountering the same problem, and there are no known fix yet.

I have the same problem, and messenger plus stopped working.

Why don't you all compare one anothers hardware and software environments to see what you have in common then... because, whilst Messenger ain't great and has got it's fair share of bugs, it does run more smoothly for everyone else...

I had this problem too. I was able to fix it by opening a command prompt and typing:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

it didn't help for me

Sorry to hear that. I had no end of trouble with MSN Messenger - failure to log in, or log in for a few seconds then disconnect, or appear to be logged in but not actually logged in....mostly it just wouldn't log me in. I tried everything I could find on the net with zero success until this fix above, which resolved the problem completely.

There are lots of suggested ways of fixing Messenger but for every person who reports a success, two report no improvement. It does seem very intractable. All I can suggest, with absolutely no expert knowledge of Messenger at all, is to try all the fixes suggested around the web one by one in the hope that something will sort it out.

My problem is that every time when I'm chatting with someone in Windows Live Messenger 2009 (Build 14.0.8089.726) which came preinstalled in my brand new ASUS laptop a few weeks ago , but the issue started a few days ago. So the problem is that every time I'm having a conversation with someone and I try to open the little window for choosing a wink or emoticon to send, Windows Live Messenger completely freezes for over a minute and doesn't let me choose a wink or emoticon to send , then while it's freezed I open the Task Manager to see what's happening and the CPU is on 5-10% usage and the ram in on 23% usage. So I don't get the freezing/lagging...

My laptop specs are the following :

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 @ 2.13Ghz
4GB of RAM (DDR2 800mhz)
320GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M 1GB of VRAM

That's the exact same problem i am having. What i notice though is that when i am on my wireless network it doesn't give all these problems. But when i am on my Ethernet port i get these problems

Ok well the problem was solved up to a couple weeks ago now i have the same exact problem :/ .... Has any got a solution to this i have tried

setting it netsh back to enable and then disabled it again still no help even if i leave it enabled
