Requirements for running CAD and CAM on laptop

hi guys,
I plan to buy a laptop with 4GB ram and 320GB hard disk and 512MB graphics card.
will this config be enough to run autoCAD and CAM.
also do i need a 64 bit OS for it?

i run acad 08/09/10 as well as featurecam and edgecam on a dell inspiron 5100 p4/1gig ram /ati rad mob 7500 64mb , so im sure you will have no probs whatsoever on your lappy ,with the amount of ram i would suggest the 64bit os

You should be fine, I used to run Maya with 1G ram and a Geforce 6500 I think?
