    Multi Display

    Hi,
A mate of mine owns a bar and wanted me to set up 3 different screens running off the same pc at the same time.
What i wanted to know is there any software that can do this?
My first thought was of CubeDeskTop but i quickly dismissed it becasue only the window in view can play videos, which is a must.

So is there any software that can let me basically 3 virtual desktops, which are able to run videos to multiple screens at the same time?

    Thanks
    Dan

If you have a dual monitor graphics card, have you thought of using a SVGA Y cable for 2 of the monitors? Or am I misunderstanding your problem?

Windows 7 has built-in dual monitor support. As long as your video card supports multiple monitors. Right-click on the desktop and hit Screen Resolution, and you can access the settings.

1 discreet card, +onboard. Or you could get 2 discreet cards.

Sorry im not sure what you mean.
A quick google lead me to an extra graphics card?
And Win7 would pick this up and allow me 3 screens then?

    Thanks for replying.

Most graphics card only have 2 or 3 outputs: 1 VGA + 1 DVI + 1 HMDI, or 2 DVI etc. You need a card that supports the number of monitors you want. Or use 2 on your PCIe card and the one onboard output, if you have onboard.

    Ah,now i understand.

So to finish WIN7 will have no problem using triple screens in the same way it does 2?

Probably. There are users here running 5 screens no problem.
