Running Ableton Live without major issues on 64bit. I AM having trouble getting some plugins authorized. 3rd party stuff. Guru in particular and some oddball ones. It's always authorization in Live won't go through. Run as Admin and all that and I just give up on some of them.

EVERYTHING works fine under Sonar. Live is being a pain in the butt. All in all, it works, no major complaints.

How did you go with your audio kontrol. There is limited support for 64 bit OS from NI but it didnt work for me,pity.....hopefully we'll get something from them soon.It does work in 32 bit win 7 however it hung on me once requiring a reboot (was playing BIO SHOCK) which so far is performing better than in winxp pro.havent noticed any real improvement in usb latency as others have reported.Would love to get AK1 running on 64 bit.

I seem to have run into a couple of issues with Live and my midi controllers - using an AKAI MPK29 and an MPD32, and for some reason when I try to assign a control to a knob fader or button nothing happens.
It auto assigns the faders to volume controls sometimes, I get notes but cant assign anything.

Is this a driver issue or something to do with the controllers not liking the combination of Live and Win7?

Make sure you click the keyboard off before trying to midi map. If PC keyboard is on, it basically cockblocks you from midi map.

You said cockblock, lol, I'm using 32 bit and everything works great except my Soundblaster USB card, which doesn't work well in XP either, I can't setup a set of channels just for monitoring through headphones, I use Ableton for DJing & production, I have M Audio Trigger finger & O2 keyboard that work well, no issues.

nice to see there is hope ...
Just cant make ableton process any sound without artifacts :/ ... many pops & clicks all over
Been using ableton for about 3 years under XP never had that issue
The sound device is Presonus Inspire 1394, processing properly out of ableton
Ableton versions 7.0.3 - 8.1, both with same result

all kind of help is welcome, thx in advance
