    Graphic apps for Win7 64bit

Up till recently I had been using XP and my graphic app of choice had been Compupc, followed by GIMP.

I have now gotten a huge upgrade in hardware (old Sony Viao replaced with a Toshiba Laptop P500-ST6822, 18.4" screen, 1GB DDR3 nVidia card, 6 GB RAM).

I checked Photodex's site but could not find any news about whether they were going to upgrade Compupic to Windows 7.

Can anyone suggest a easy to use cheap to moderately priced app I can get for my new system?
    Thanks.

There is a 64 bit version of Gimp for Windows. It claims Vista support so it likely works on W7. As for other apps, I'm not super into graphics manipulation. I just do a few simple things here and there. For freeware I get by with Photofiltre,Irfanview and a few Icon creation utilities. I think the free version of Photofiltre used to do layers but now you may have buy the Pro version for that feature.

I have found gimp for Win 7 64b and have installed it. It works just fine.

That's really nice stuff you have there. I am no where near that kind of artist. I just needed a program to alter some pictures when I create a brochure for my business.

Search for driver and software compatibility at the Windows 7 Compatibility Center: Windows 7 Compatibility Center home.
