    No problem, but please test it, I built in on a 64bit system, so I may have missed something re x86 box's. Also Jimbo's brought up a good point and if you need more data then let me know.

    Also at the bequest of our 5th band member, I've been playing with a vbs script I found. Here is another batch for comparison, although this one shows all updates as well..... just trying to get office 2010 to play nice. If you just want the vbs script (written by Dave Gardiner), remark out the delete on the batch file and then it will create it for you when run.

    Here is a free program that lists all software and versions on your computer and also creates a web page that shows which software needs to be updated and where to find the updates. What more could you ask for!

    Software Inventory


    Hi Tim,

    I am new here, just joined this forum. I was looking for the program to list out the software inventory and happen to see your solution . I had downloaded the batch file in listing the programs installed and found it to be suitable for my IT Audit. I notice that all the output file bears similar name. Hence, would like to request if it is okay for you to enhance this program to output filename that bears the computername or domain user logon so as to make it unique for consolidation.
