WIndows Live Mail - doesn't work

I opened windows live mail and an error message closed it immediately.
On the previous build this program worked perfectly..someone else had this problem?

    I'm using build 7057 x64.

    Thanks

    Hi,

The WLM has been an issue for me on and off ever since build 6801, it seems that every time there is a new build of either WLM or Windows 7 it's about 50:50 if it will crash on start. Mind you in every case where it's been a problem the next release of WLM has fixed it

    Problem solved.

I removed the "windows live contacts" folder in users/appdata/local/microsoft/

    All works fine now

Never had a problem - but I,m holding my breathe!I checked the mentioned folder. I am not sure who "owns " it, but I do not use it. Mine is empty.
When I reinstall, I have a backup of my contacts folder, which I copy into
    Users\username\Contacts and
Program files (x86)\Windows LIve\Contacts. I have found this takes care of the "Contacts" in LIve mail, and the "select from Contacts", when you are sending mail.
