Portable Application error

    Portable Application error


    I just installed Win 7 pro 32 bit, and i have a problem launching Adobe Flash CS4 Portable by Atalay everytime i launch it gives me an unknown error.

    Does anyone know a way to help me solve this.

    Hi and welcome

    In order to daignose I need you to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search) go to the windows logs>application tab. You shoudl look for things like app crash, app hang, etc. You will be looking for errors (they have red in the last hand column) when yoou find them use the buil in snipping tool to make a screen shot and upload it using the attachment icn (sgaped like a paperclip) jn the reply for, see pics

    thanks zigzag3143, i just went to the event log i found the error The Event ID is 4107 and the source is CAPI2 And the details Failed extract of third-party root list from auto update cab at: with error: The data is invalid. If this info is not enough i will print screen the event log.

    oh i forgot to add the link in the previous link: <http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootstl.cab>

    when you click the link it will auto dl authrootstl.cab does anyone know what this is for.
