    Good Codec Package?

Hey guys, do you know any good codec package for windows 7 Ult 32bit? I tired installing K-lite , but some movies i load with mpc and vlc, the colors are all washed out and mpc is crashing often too.

    thank you.

You don't need another codec pack, even if you try another, the result will be the same. What you need to do is set up the codecs properly. Most importantly, in mpc(I suggest using hc instead of the regular version) you need to set the renderer for video output that's most suitable for you. EVR is a good renderer for most of the video formats, though I would suggest the Haali Renderer if you're movies mostly consist of H264 video.
You can change your settings from mpc by going to View -> Options

Yes K-Lite is the predominate codec package, but as Airbot mentioned Sharkey's is alsogood as well.

I wouldn't even use Home Cinema Classic (Media Player Classic). AsJ oHn87 siggested, try KmPlayer
    Download KMPlayer

Do you by any chance use them for anything else besides playback? If no, please stop making such comments. Shark's codec pack IS good, I'm not saying it isn't, but unlike some people I know the difference between his pack and the K-Lite pack.
