Windows 7 - SQL server 2008 express

Hello,

Hum. I've got a question. I want install SQL server 2008 + SQL management express 2008 to my Computer.

If I'm trying that, it says me somewhat with Service pack.
Can someone help me?

Das erste screenshot erklärt, daß deine Benutzername, und / oder Kennwort für SQL Server-Dienst ist nicht gültig. Du muss ein korrektes Benutzername und Kennwort geben.

Das zweite screenshot erklärt, daß bevor du SQL Server 2008 in deinem Betriebssystem benutzen kannst, muss du Service-Pack 1 des SQL Server 2008 installieren. Dieses ist nicht eine Fehlermeldung, es ist nur eine Benachrichtigung, daß Service-Pack 1 installiert sein muss, bevor du SQL Server 2008 benutzen kannst.



Hello Yaku, welcome to the Seven Forums.

The first of your screenshots tells that your username and / or password for SQL Server Database Engine is not valid. You need to give a correct username and password.

The second screenshot only tells you that before you can use SQL Server 2008 in your operating system, you must install SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 1. This is not an error message, it is just a reminder that you need to install service pack 1 before you can use SQL Server 2008.

I have not used the German version of SQL and my German is very bad, therefore I may translate incorrectly; but I will try.

SQL should install without the service pack.

The error that you receive shows incorrect user or password (incorrect credentials) falsches Passwort. This can occur if a previous installation is interrupted.

"Die angegebenen anmeldeinformationen fuer den SQL server-Dienst sind ungueltig" - Dies ist wahrscheinlich der SA-User Passwort
(This is probably to do with the SA user password).

Empfehlungen (I suggest that):
1. Backup your system
2. Remove SQL
3. Remove any folders that SQL isntalled
4. Remove any SQL related registry entries that you can find
5. Reboot
6. Install SQL as ADMINISTRATOR (note: enter a password during install)
7. Install the latest service pack
8. Run SQL
