cygwin 1.7 on win 7
I loaded up the latest cygwin 1.7.1 on to an intel duo core mb with Windows 7 x64
installed. My primary use for cygwin is to run a sshd server.
All previous versions of cygwin seemed to have problems with permissions and
although I had work arounds, it just wasn't a very clean process.
This latest update went in without problem and sshd is installed as a service
There is a new user that shows up on the logon panel called priviledged user
but other than that all appears well.
The minimal download of the sshd server, clients along with curl, wget and vim
is around 26 MB.
