Just a Question - What email client(s) are you using on W7 Hi everyone
just a question -- as there is no email client included with Windows 7 what are you using.
I have no problem with Microsoft Outlook as I've got Office installed but what are other people using.
I actually don't mind Outlook myself -- I'm not a fan of "Web based" email clients and I really don't like "Windows Live".
Cheers
jimbo

I used to use Thunderbird myself. Now I use Windows Live Mail. Two things I really like about this program is that I can have multiple email accounts set up, for me it's 2 x Google Accounts and 1 x Microsoft Live Account, and one BIG plus is the easy way to backup all your messages if you ever need to reinstall the OS! Done that a few times!! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Phenom II x4 965 Motherboard Gigabyte Memory 8Gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 Graphics Card Asus EN9600GT 512Mb DDR3 Fanless Sound Card Integrated Monitor(s) Displays Belinea 22" LCD (Primary) and HP 19" LCD (secondary) Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 / 1440 x 900 Keyboard Saitek USB Illuminated Mouse Optical Wireless/Batteryless Mouse PSU 800w Silent Case Nifty looking Midi Case Cooling 3 x Super Cooling Quiet Case Fans. Windows Live Mail for me. I thought that I would not like it at first, as I was used to using Windows Mail in Vista, but the layout in WLM is a great improvement as it means that I can read my E-Mails without having to do as much scrolling. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built, N/A OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit & 64-bit both SP1 CPU AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 7550 @2.5GHz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA770-ES3 Memory 2 x 2GB PC2-6400 (DDR2-800), Ganged Mode, (4GB total) Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Sound Card Realtek High Definition on board solution (ALC 892) Monitor(s) Displays ViewSonic VA1912w Widescreen (VGA) Screen Resolution 1440x900 Keyboard Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard (USB) Mouse Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 (USB) PSU XFX Pro Series 850W Semi-Modular Case Antec NSK 4000B II Cooling 1 x 80mm Front Inlet (with filter) 1 x 120mm Rear Exhaust Hard Drives OCZ Petrol SSD 64GB SATA III

I use Thunderbird with multiple email account across multiple Operating systems (my Thunderbird profile is on my data drive and one edit when re-installing an OS brings back everything.). Basically I get an identical Thunderbird view including all my add-ons and rules etc from three current windows installs on this machine.
I did use Live mail for my LIve address but since the changes in January this too is now in Thunberbird | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Real World Computing (Me + a little help from Acer) OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 + x86 + Windows 8 x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X6 1035T 2.6 GHz Motherboard Aspire M3400 Memory 4Gb PC10600 DDR3 1333 MHz Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 315 512MB Sound Card OnBoard - Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Philips 32" HDTV, (HDMI) + 26" TV (VGA) Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 @60Hz + 1360 x 768 @60Hz Keyboard Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) Mouse Microsoft Wireless 800 or Stock Acer, (depends where I sit) PSU Stock (400W) Case Acer M3400 Cooling Stock Hard Drives 500 GB Seagate ST3500418AS SATA II
