if you did a clean wipe and it's an OEM machine check their downloads and drivers pages, it's likely in there. HOWEVER you should know windows 7 handles burning a bit differently than previous versions and your software may not work. if you have problems with it and you probably will just look for a more up to date burning suite that supports windows 7.

I can understand the panic if you depend on a software suite that does all your media conversion and burning. I bought the Nero 6 Utlimate suite. After awhile though, I found that many things can be converted and burned better using free tools. Check out programs like CDBunerXP and Burrrn for audio burning, and Imgburn for DVD burning.

For conversions you can find free tools on
VideoHelp.com - Forum, Guides, Tools and hardware lists many of which actually work better than commercial packages(except perhaps some high-end authoring and video creation editing suites.)

For converting one video format to another and burning see that site and also
Digital Video Forums - Everybody's Talkin'

You may find after a bit that "all in one" suites actually get in the way of what you want to do more often than not.. esp. after you gain a bit of experience with other software.
