Windows 7: CPUZ reporting wrong CPU?

I have used CPUZ for years and NEVER seen it report the wrong CPU. I have seen it work with probably 30-40 systems. I just got a new laptop....just something cheap with a Core 2 Duo T6600. CPUZ is reporting it as a T6670. The difference is the 6670 has virtualization and the T6600 does not. I wonder if HP could have slipped a little better chip into my laptop, or if it's just reading wrong. SIW and Everest show the same (6670 the better one)

hi nate42nd, visit intels site and run the virtualisation test on your cpu then you will know if you got a bonus!

It looks like CPUZ IS reporting the wrong CPU. I don't have virtualization.

The latest version of SIW is reporting the correct CPU now. (T6600)

I guess this is solved, I didn't get the CPU that CPUZ is reporting. They probably need to update their database.
