No they are not in the 6801 build but you can copy them from your vista sidebar directory in Program files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets.
Gary as far as I know you just click on the little spanner on the right of it to bring up the options, if that's what you mean, unless you were asking about different colours for each note but I don't think you can do that.
If you wanted to you could have more than one note pad and then you can have a different colour for each pad. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Brew OS Windows 7 Ultimate Vista Ultimate x64 CPU Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16Ghz @ 3.8Ghz Motherboard eVGA 750i FTW Memory 2x2Gigs Patriot PC2-6400 LL Graphics Card Inno3D GeForce GTX260 216 SP Monitor(s) Displays ASUS VW222U 22" 2ms Response time Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard Mouse Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse PSU HYTEC 600W & Thermaltake 650W Toughpower Power Exp Case Thermaltake Armor LCS (Liquid Cooling System) Cooling Liquid Cooling System Hard Drives SATA 150GB

I typed 'sticky notes' into the start menu search bar and it came up. You can make each note any color by right clicking on the new note and selecting a color, mix and match, but the default is green and I'd like to change it to blue. There is no 'options' button. The program file is located at %SystemRoot%\system32\StikyNot.exe. It is not the same as the stickies in the Vista sidebar. Hopefully this is something that just hasn't gotten added yet.

Just a note here, or should I say a sticky..?
If anyone wants a more flexible sticky note programme where you can tell them to alert you when you wish try Zhorn Software's "Stickies 6.7a" - works on both Vista and Windows 7. Have finally had a chance to play around with this program. I like it. Being able to pin a sticky to a particular window is nice. Also, if I click the x it doesn't kill the sticky, it's still in the database. Thanks a bunch.

You're welcome. By the way I know you can do most of that with Windows Calendar, but this is less obtrusive. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Alienware® ALX X58 OS Vista Ult SP2/Win 7 Ult SP1/Win 8 Pro w/MC/x64/XP SP3 x86 in VM CPU Intel® Core™ i7-975 Extreme O/C to 4.02 GHz, 8MB Cache Motherboard Asus® P6T Deluxe V2 X58 LGA1366 Memory 12GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 6 x 2048MB Graphics Card 1792 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295/Hauppauge HVR2250 TV Tuner Sound Card Onboard Soundmax® High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung XL2370 LED backlit 23" W/S 2ms response time Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080 Keyboard Microsoft® Wireless Entertainment 8000 + Logitech® G15 Wired Mouse Microsoft® Wireless Laser 8000 + Logitech® G9 Wired PSU Alienware® 1200 Watt Multi-GPU Case Alienware® P2 ALX Chassis with AlienIce™ 3.0 Video Cooling Cooling Alienware® High-Perf.
