o&o has had this problem since at least version 10. i have seen it. i do not know why it does this. i have had it where i click on c and went to defrag and it starts to do all of my drives.

necessary to defrag ext. hard drive ?
I do all my backups, files backup and Image backup in an external hard drive. Once a month, I would do a disk defrag on my C drive, using Auslogics. It has been in my mind, should I defrag the ext. hard drive ? I keep the C drive lean. All files are " moved to " my external hard drive....

Defrag - Will not run on one drive
Hope someone might be able to help. Defrag opens and runs on C: fine no issues. On D: it starts, analyses ( way too quick IMHO ) then stops and marks the drive as 26% fragmented. Tried most things I can think of. I did a search and canít seem to find anything like this. I do not want to...

Can't defrag DATA (D) drive?
Opened Disk Defragmenter. DATA (D) is showing 21% fragmented. However when I highlight this drive, it is only highlighted for about a second and I can't get this drive to be degragged. I can defrag the OS (C) drive, though. What's up.
