    hi lila , inthe settings/intergration window untick and retick all the checkmarks you have then see if windows brings up an information window asking permission for the changes :)

    did what you said and no box popped up asking for permission for changing settings...grrrrrrrrrr this is so frustrating...ty

    right that shows a problem with the install , if you still have your disc or original install files , uninstall your current setup and reinstall under vista compatability mode right click on setup .exe file>properties>compat>run as vista>tick run as admin>apply>ok and exit then right click on setup file again and run as admin hope that helps
