Windows 7: msn messanger wont work and now i cant find it

msn messenger wouldnt work lately and when i tried to check it recently i couldnt find it anywhere on my computer. I tried re-installing but it says its already installed and now i dont know how to uninstall it. any help will be appreciated.

What does it say when you try to reinstall ? Will it not continue the installation ? If it can install, please check the path where it is installed by default during reinstallation and try to locate it.

If you get any error, please provide a screen shot of the same.

when i click on the install it comes up with the windows live installer and this is what it looks like.
