AVI/DIVX/MPEG4 to DVD Quality
I've tried various tools to get my Captured VHS tapes to DVD...
I used Dazzle DVC170 to get the Analog signal to Digital (captured as DIVX and MPEG4 and MPEG2 flavored files).
When I try to burn them to DVD AS A DVD, they seem to get reencoded to a format other than what I started with. This causes the quality (already nowhere near as good as a DVD version of the movie) to go downlhill.
I have tried Studio 12 and 14 from Pinnacle, and Windows Live Movie Maker and DVD Maker.
Anyone have any success in getting their VHS tapes to DVD and not lose a lot of quality along the way?
ps... .using Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate - 4 Gigs of memory and dual core.
