I installed shockwave player and when I go to adobe site, the animation plays that shockwave player installation was successful. But when I go to this page it launches an unknown application saying to install shockwave player.

Hello DFS,

Do you have the latest 11.5.6.606 version of Adobe Shockwave installed?

If you trust the site, then you might allow it to just install it for you. It may need a older version or something.

It's ok to download. I got the same "problem" here: Play Split Second online - CarGames.net

I think it does that with all shockwave games in chrome. It tries to download the game file in .dcr format.
