Cannot see programs in add/remove programs

    Cannot see programs in add/remove programs


    Hey, well I managed to update my PC from Windows update. Ever since that critical update, I have only been able to see 3 or 4 programs in my add/remove programs list. Same programs only show up in CCleaner, and Revo uninstaller. Both programs have been removed, since then, but sill no luck. Any thoughts? Thanks alot :)

    You could always to a restore from a previous backup. You could do a repair install.

    Yeah, I have like 6o restore points, but imma wait and keep updating my PC until it goes away. its not even that big of a deal at the moment, but It does get annoying.

Hello Today I decided to install some stuff on my computer as it was out of date.. I installed Java, Flash player and adobe reader X but when I go to add/remove they are not showing up in that section? Has anyone any suggestions or advice as to why this is happening? Thank you.
Is there a way to remove entries from "Programs and Features"? The screenshot shows many entries for MegaSceneryEarth, can I get rid of all these entries someway? I do not want to uninstall the program, I just do not want all this crap showing up under "Programs and Features".

greetings all, I added my own programs folder to the start menu, so now I want to disable the annoying 'all programs' menu. I followed the guide on the vistax64 forums (adding 'NoStartMenuMorePrograms' to HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/Currentversion/policies/explorer) but that does not work....
