    Ipod and Itunes

I know there have been many threads on this topic but wasnt sure if they pertained to my problem. Whenever i plug my ipod into my computer itunes stops working and i am unable to close it, restore the window or do anything with my ipod. Any ideas?

Depends on which iPod you have. If you don't have a Touch or iPhone, then there are other programs that will let you add/remove music to an iPod....foobar2000 can be configured to do it, MediaMonkey can do it, and maybe Winamp too. But, apps and videos, I believe, can't be sent by anything but iTunes.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but hopefully it gives you an option.:)

i downloaded mediamonkey and plugged in my ipod to set it up to sync with mediamonkey. when i did this itunes opened since it is set to open when i plug in my ipod. the strange thing is this time it didnt crash like it had been. it just started to sync like its supposed to. i dont know why it worded but it did. maybe all i needed to do was close itunes before i plug in my ipod. either way, thanks for giving me another option to keep for the future.
