    i download the pro version and let it install the stpd then it reboot the computer then when it ask to open the daemon exe file to cont install i hit cancel and download the lite version and let it install.. then it hang when update virtual drive so i just kill process and reopen daemon it work fine for me

    Yeah I was kind of disappointed to learn the old installer said it was installing the device driver, then asked to reboot, then once rebooted, wanted to start the whole process over again.

    Nice to hear they are keeping up with the times.

    Interesting.

    Why not just download the SPTD installer by itself instead of DL'ing the Pro version and having to do all that?

    And, FWIW, I don't think this is a working build yet. It *says* it is working, but I have had 2 ISOs crap out on me, and installation of other stuff got mangled with DT installed, even after a reboot. I am waiting for a bit before I revert to DT....

    Thus far it has hosed 2 installs of 7077 of mine - 1 32bit and 1 64bit.

    I am not going to use this until they get the bugs worked out.

    This is now a merge of two topics on the same subject b/c someone didn't search.

    Because the lite version does not work that great with the latest SPTD.
