Cannot Install Software Since Upgrading to Windows 7

    I remember there was an issue with the installer on Vista. When I ran a program I would get a dialog asking me if I wanted to install the already installed program. There was a fix called Installer Cleanup Tool or something. I wonder if W7 has something similar. Have you checked MS KB articles?

    I tried several fixes overnight, finally gave up and did a clean install of W7. Very glad I did. Everything works fine now.
