Windows 7 Update
I've done a search and couldn't find if this has been posted previously. If it has I aplogise in advance.
How to Update Windows 7
"In the Windows Update window, on the left toward the bottom, it says that you are only getting updates for Windows. There you will also find a link that says “Get updates for more products.” If you click it, you can upgrade Windows Update to Microsoft Update, which looks for updates not only for Windows 7 but also for any Microsoft product installed on your computer that it recognizes.
Click the link and your browser will start up and navigate to a page like the one shown in Figure 1.

First, you need to click the check box that says you agree to the terms and conditions, which you should (but probably won’t) read. Then, click Install.
The next screen will indicates that Microsoft Update was installed correctly. That’s all there is to it—almost. This screen tells you to use your Start Menu to check for updates, as opposed to the Control Panel, which means you can launch Microsoft Update as you would any other program."
