How to copy an obsolete program from an old computer?

I have Microsoft Digital Image 2006 on my old laptop, running Windows Vista. I don't remember how I got it on there initially. However, the program is now obsolete and I desperately need it on my new laptop, which is running Windows 7. Is there any way to transfer the program to my new laptop, or download it again?

There is a download of the starter edition still available

Download details: Digital Image Starter Edition 2006

No guarantee that this will run on win7, though if you are running on Vista it Should

    Edit

Just checked again and this is a trial - you may be able to re-use the key you have on your existing system but then would have to remove the original due to licensing restrictions

Saw that, but that is a 60-day trial. I want the full program. I suspect it came with my internet provider or something on my old laptop, but I have no idea how to get it now.

Maybe you can find the product key of your Vista version and apply it to the trial. Key Finder Programs - Top 13 Free Product Key Finder Programs - Keyfinder Software

As this is now I believe obsolete or near to this. and if it was provided with your laptop or by the ISP you may find it difficult to obtain.

If you are looking for an application to catalogue/ edit/print etc your photos many are available - perhaps something like picassa

If you want free heavy duty editing capabilities like Photoshop, look at
    GIMP - for Windows

For easy casual editing a couple more are
    http://www.photofiltre.com
    and
IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

all 3 are still being developed.
