    EasyBCD

    Hello all....:)

So in anticipation of Windows 7 (pre beta) bombing and having to burn everything to the ground and start over and reinstall Vista from the ground up, all I had to do was this (from within Vista) with EasyBCD? And now all is right again in Bare foot Kid land? Now when I need to I can delete Windows 7 and reformat the partition it was on and it will be no more?...

    That's too easy!

    Hi Ted,

It's a wonderful bit of software

I triple boot Vista, Windows 7 and a Linux Distro (for experimentation), all from the Windows 7 bootloader with Vista as the default OS

this was done within two minutes of downloading EasyBCD

It's nice when things can be easy

    Hi kid,

I've got Easy BCD too. I think you need to use the add/remove button. Then just reformat the 7 partition.

    Hi Nigel.

Hi SIW2; you're saying that EasyBCD will remove Windows 7 also?

You can delete the entry and hit save in the add remove entry area.

    Hi kid,

Easy BCD will remove 7 boot files. You don't need to delete the 7 o/s files from their partition - a full format of that partition will do the job.
