Neros Back It Up & Burn

We get alot of questions here asking about the best Back Up/Imaging Software as well as the best CD/DVD Burning Software.

As of late, I've been playing around with Neros Back It Up & Burn software. I've had it for awhile, but never used it due to the fact I have Acronis.
Since I have never really seen mention of it around here before, I decided to check it out.
I thought Id share my thoughts on it for those who are interested.

It's available as a standalone product for $39, or free with the purchase of Nero 9 Reloaded.

For Back Ups:
Its capable of Full Disk Imaging, Partition Imaging, and File/Folder Back Up. Either to Local Disc, DVD, or Removeable Disk.

You can also run the back ups on a schedule of your choosing (Once,Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom schedules). As well as the type of back up you want. Full, Differential, Incremental.

Recovering Folders/Files is fairly straight-forward and simple. Allowing you to restore the entire folder to its original location/directory OR a new one.
You can also browse its contents and restore just a single file.

Full Disk Images work in the same manner, allowing you to restore the entire Image, or browse the image and choose just a single folder or a single file.

It also includes Nero Express:
So it can burn Audio and DATA CD/DVDs
Create or burn Images to Disc (.nrg Nero Images)
And Disk Rescue (Similar to Recuva and other apps that retrieve deleted DATA)

The layout is user friendly and easy to navigate and find what you're looking for.

The only hiccup i encountered, was with a full disk image of the C drive. I got on error saying it could not lock the drive, but it then proceeded to image the drive and all went perfectly fine.

Although there may be better back up solutions out there (some even free) I do find Nero back It Up & Burn to be better than the built in Windows 7 version, with much more flexibility.

For those looking for CD/DVD Burning Software as well as a Back Up Solution, for $39, I think its worth at least looking into.

Heres a screenshot of the file recover portion of the UI:
