Hello AUX, welcome to Seven Forums!

Have a look at the link below.

http://www.sevenforums.com/software/...indow-7-a.html

Also just start looking through the forums; the information you seek is to numerous to list here.
Unless of course; creating that list is something you would care to undertake?

You do know you can tell programs in Windows 7 to think it's XP/Vista/Server 2003/2000, etc?
Everything works that people say don't.
Right click the program, select Properties.
Under the Compatibility tab, set Compatibility Mode to Vista RTM or earlier.

The OP asked for apps - not necessarily free - that worked or don't work with W7. I think that is a fair topic for a *separate* post, because Office 2007, Ultramon, Symantec Endpoint Security, etc. are all *not free*.

How about we do it together. We all post programs that work, be they free or not, and someone collects that data and makes a list so that all double instances are taken care of. I will look through and collect the programs as they stack up if you want.

On the contrary I think we should make a list of programs that DO NOT work in Se7en.
