It needs to be run as Admin to acquire specific permissions. If you want it to always run as admin, right click on its shortcut, click Properties -> Compatibility -> Always run as admin.

Actually the best solution I found is to use the tutorial from Brink.
Look in System Security, my post on "UAC Notifications".
Gave me highest privlidges and dumped the UAC pop-up.

Yes, but if you do that, you're loosening up security and allowing anything to run.

I'm not incorrect. UAC warns you when something wants to run, whether it is you launching it or it launching itself. It also warns you when someone or something attempts to change settings. How am I incorrect? Wouldn't you want to be warned when something makes changes to your computer?

You sir are the one that is mistaken. By turning off the prompts you are opening up your computer.

This is a case of using dynamite to catch a fish.

I did not turn off the prompts, I gave higher privlidges to the software I use. Protected mode is still on! I may not be a puter professional but I know what I know.

The UAC popups are the security though. I'm not doubting what you know, but is removing a slight inconvenience really worth opening up a hole in your security?
