    Widows 98 help files....

Does anyone know if there's a utilty to display the old style .HLP files from win98 under Win7?

I've got a mess of them and I'd hate to scrap them...

    Thank you!

But my gosh what a hassle! Validation challenges... turn on automatic updates... blah blah blah and all it does is install a single EXE file...

I've never used or heard of it before, so let me know how it works out.

I guess I've never had the need to view hlp files.

Seems to work just fine... I have help files for both HTML and the Windows SDK that are ever so helpful in my programming experiments and it really was a struggle working without them.

In my HTML editor (TXTPad) I could press F1 to see help for a tag...
The same in Pelles C, Pressing F1 on a keyword calls the Win98 SDK help...

With the thousands of system calls and hundreds of html tags, I wouldn't even try to remember them....

Of course I have newer versions of all that, but it's just so handy to have that F1 thing working again.

So... now all is good... thanks again.
