Windows 7: Windows 7 HDMI issue

So i'm enjoying the stability of windows 7 that replaces vista on sunday.
I'm having a very frustrating issue that i'm lost on knowing what to do

Windows 7 is installed on my HTPC its an onboard video card from gigabyte which i'm using the HDMI out to my pioneer elite AV receiver and then monitor out to my samsung LNT4065FX
When the tv and receiver have been off for 4 hours of less( meaning a long amount of time) everything comes on with the exception of the tv receiving a signal from my computer. To fix the problem all i have to do is like clock work unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the tv and plug it right back in and the tv dectecs the signal and everything works. If i power the tv off and right back on again, it works fine. This issue only happens when i'm wanting the computer IE never the dvd player or ps3 console. This issue only started since installing windows 7

Thoughts?

I'd suggest updating your drivers. It's possible that there's an update that might help you. It doesn't sound like a huge issue so explore drivers, and update the motherboard BIOS. Make sure that you research it prevalently first because BIOS upgrades are dangerous.

I had this trouble also when using HDMI, so I went back to DVI.

Not sure if I can help any but your question made me think about my system when I set up my HDTV and my Video card with HDMI.
I would like to ask you a question and then I may have a suggestion for you.

Are you trying to run your video and sound from the HDMI?
If so I did have a issue with that myself.

yes i am using HDMI for both video and audio

ok running HDMI for both on my system didn't work so well for me.
I found that i had to disable my audio from the HDMI and only stream the video to my HDTV with the HDMI cable, and then connect the audio to my sound system. If you have optical out/in you can buy the proper cable to connect PC to audio system.
Whatever your audio system can handle for audio IN and whatever your PC can handle for Audio OUT.
I am running HDMI cable from PC to HDTV and running a separate Optical cable from my PC to my Audio system.
Are you running your 40 TV for your only source of display for computer?
If not, with your PC, do you have the option to duplicate your display on your monitor and tv the same time?
