Google taskbar search box

Before we upgraded to 64 bit WIN 7, we were running xp pro. I was able to install a google search box that was put into my taskbar. when i would type something, it would give me options of what to do with my search. There were options...dictionay, thesaurus, feeling lucky...and things like that. It was very useful. Where can I find that for my new workstation?

Ahh...it's called the "Deskbar"...is it available running IE8? I read there is a "workaround" using IE7. Can this be achieved?
