Windows 7: Hp 4315 Officejet software

I have installed Hp 4315 office jet sofware on Windows 7 ult 64 bit, however not all feature work (scan and make pdf).

Anybody had any workaround for this?

I loaded the xp mode and it still did not work, I loaded sun virtual box with a copy of xp i have, but this copy is running on a different machine ( i dont think microsoft like that to have more than one machine running on one product key). I just tried it and it worked, all features. I was under the thought that windows gave us the ability to us xp mode to us if something did not work in Windows 7 we could use xp mode.
