    Adobe AIR update trouble.

Hello everybody, and todays problem is with ADOBE.

Having finally managed to update the Adobe Reader and Acrobat.com neither will work properly without prompting me to update Adobe AIR. I had ver1.5.3.9130 so I allowed it to go ahead and update to v 2.???. After lots of hassle I finally managed to get it installed however neither acrobat.com nor reader 9 seem to care and still keep trying to update and failing. So I went back to var 1.5 and tried again but it just tells me that an error occurred and to contact the application provider. I`ve read around a bit and have been told to ignore the adobe popup upgrade window and install it myself but both progs still insist on trying to upgrade even with the latest version installed.

As ever thanks for all the help from everybody who`s aided me in my Window7 PC odyssey. Without whom I`dve pulled out all my hair and be the baldest redhead in town.

You'll probably need to run the updater as an Administrator to get it to work. This also happens with the Java updater.
