Introducing Explorer and Ownership Changer 2

    SF

I have been working on two small but very powerful bats I thought I could share with everyone

       Tip
MAKE SURE TO READ THE README PROVIDED

    Explorer Changer

       Information
This takes a modified explorer and replaces it with the current one. All automated. Fantastic for people who need to change their start orb.

    Ownership Changer

       Information
Will change the ownership of a file or all files in a folder. All Automated. Fantastic for anyone who has ever had permission issues (everyone). Also great for people who don't want take ownership in their context menu

Both programs have been rigorously tested and if used correctly (and on the correct files)....will cause no damage

    that said.....

       Warning
I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THESE FILES....THIS SOFTWARE COMES WITH NO LIABILITY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Unfortunately, am stuck on my xp machine right now. But I looked at the Ownership Changer batch file.

Commandwise, I think there is no difference from the well known, context menu "Take Ownership' hack.

What can be added is a GUI which would let a user browse to the particular file or folder. Right now the batch wants me to locate the file, then copy its path and paste it into the command window which is somewhat tedious.

I like the messages "access granted" and "access to all files granted" in your file. Far more user friendly than the gobledygook that scrolls past in "Take ownership".

But well done and keep up the good work!

You are correct concering the context menu thing....there isn't (I did not copy any code from them mind you). As I said above....if you don't want to run the context menu thing....then this would be perfect

Also....you can tab when inputting the path....tab complete that is....that helps inputting the name

If user demand is high....I can very well make a GUI of it....otherwise it would be perhaps pointless

At any rate....thanks for the comment and nice words!

    I demand a GUI!

Joking aside, both work very nicely.
