Really? I didn't notice that, I'll have to pay attention next time I burn something. It isn't something you have to turn on is it?

yeah I like that feature, just keep an eye on the taskbar instead of having to flip between applications.

i burned a bunch of DVDs yesterday, and the progress bit only worked about half the time. hmm.

but it sure is a nice feature when it does work. i can't wait for other apps to do that. especially Directory Opus! but they are refusing to start working on compatibility until RTM for some reason

I hate it when companies adopt that attitude. They should be ready BEFORE rtm otherwise people will have to wait even longer for them to fix it.

Best free program for DVD burning.
I need too burn some DVD's for a friends wedding from an AVI file that i have exported from Adobe premier, the file is 5.5GB so will need some kind of compression, also i wouldn't mind creating some chapters and a DVD menu if this is possible. I really want a program that will do this for free...

I have downloaded memtest to my downloads folder. I can see it in explorer. But when In try to browse to it in Burnaware I do not see it?

Morning all i have been looking thru the windows 7 free software thread for a good music cd burrning app, just wanted some opinions on the best ones to go for, i have just downloaded cdxp gonna give that a try. Any ideas? many thanks
Can't decide on burning program
Hey well as the title says i just can't decide which program to use. Needs to be lightweight and free but will consider using a paid software also. ImgBurn CDBurnerXP Burnaware free beta 9 InfraRecorder Is there anything better ?

can anyone recommend a nice lite and easy to use buring program to convert *avi files to dvd and also burn *iso files be a big help anything but nero as it's to slow and take so long to get things done
