Windows 7: Epson Print CD issues

Before my current wireless configuration I had a wired network with two desktop computers and the Epson Artisan 800 printer. When printing CDs it took about 10 seconds without interuption. All units were connected to a wired Linksys router.

I changed to a wireless network when I purchased a laptop computer and now the two desktop computers are still wired to the router but the printer is now wireless to the router as well as the laptop. All my document and photo printing works great when printing from the laptop or desktop computers. The Epson Scan software works great as well but when I try printing a CD on the Epson Artisan using the Epson Print CD software it will print maybe a 1.2 inch od the CD and stop. It sometime prints more but other times it just says it is cancelling the print job. I have network software so I can monitor the various network connections and it still shows the printer and laptop connected to the network. i also tried the software a=on one of the desktop computers and I'm getting the same results from there. Wondering if anyone else has this setup and if so are you experiencing the same issues.
