Resource Kit for Windows 7
I grabbed the Win2k3 Resource Kit, but Windows 7 says it has some compatibility problems.
I need to make use or instsrv.exe and anysrv.exe for a user defined service - are there any alternatives?

They worked for me.
Clay - I know your post was a long time ago, but just within the hour I had a similar need to yours and decided to ignore the warning and successfully installed a user-defined service (DropBox) without any problems.
